ETP Overview
By reimbursing the cost of employer-driven training for incumbent workers, and funding the type of training needed by unemployed workers to re-enter the workforce, the Employment Training Panel (ETP) program helps to ensure that California businesses will have the skilled workers they need to remain competitive.
Sierra College Training & Development assists employers in securing ETP funding to subsidize customized training as well as works with employers that have ETP contracts.
The ETP program is funded by a special Employment Training Tax (ETT) paid by California employers, and only employers subject to this tax directly benefit from the program. Let Sierra College help you meet your business goals cost-effectively with ETP subsidized employee training.

The performance-based contracts require that a trainee, who works at least 35 hours per week and earns a minimum hourly rate, completes an employment retention period of at least 90 days.
Trainees must attend all of the sessions and receive a minimum of eight (8) hours of training. Employers should not have more than 20% turnover in staff. Sierra College Training & Development will assist you in applying for ETP subsidized training.
