Sierra College and APICS offer Supply Chain Management Class starting March 3 in Roseville
ROCKLIN –To help businesses improve efficiency, Sierra College is offering a course on Supply Chain Management – Master Planning of Resources starting March 3 through April 9. Participants will learn to develop sales and operations plans as well as assess internal and external demand and forecasting requirements. The course focuses on the importance of producing achievable master schedules that are consistent with business policies, objectives and resource constraints. The class is offered at the Sierra Gateway Campus at 333 Sunrise in Roseville on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 PM.
The Sierra College Workforce Development Division (www.sierracollegetraining.com) through the Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) is co-sponsoring the course with the Sacramento Chapter of APICS -- The Association for Operations Management (www.apicsacramento.com).www.sierracollegetraining.com. The course fee is $550 ($499 for APICS members) plus books.

The course will also prepare participants for the APICS professional exam to become certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). APICS administers the CPIM test.
